Public Art Seminar Ostrobothnia / Southern Ostrobothnia

Two-day seminar in Vaasa and Alajärvi

29.4.2025 – 30.4.2025

Tuesday, April 29th, 12:00-3.30 PM, Ostrobothnian Museum in Vaasa, the theme will be public art in urban and rural environments..

Wednesday, April 30th, 12:00-3.30 PM, council chamber, Alajärvi City Hall, the theme will be Lappajärvi’s One Percent for Art project.

The seminar is aimed at people within the art sector, artists and those interested in art. In Vaasa, the talks will be in English, Swedish, and Finnish and in Alajärvi, in English and Finnish.

To reduce food waste, we ask that you register no later than April 23rd. You can register for one or both days. The seminar is free of charge.

The presentations will be published on the museums’ YouTube channels.

The seminar is organized by Vaasa Museums and Nelimarkka Museum, Southern Ostrobothnia Art Museum.
